From the Editor:
Hello one and all! I am honored to serve as the HSA Newsletter Editor. As a relatively new poet who has been readily welcomed in by the greater haiku community, I welcome the opportunity to give back by serving in a role that many people depend on. Thank you for entrusting me with getting your news and updates out to the haiku community that HSA serves.
Here is the link to the Google Form we use for submitting content to include in each newsletter. Bookmark it for ease of access. Using the form will help ensure that everyone’s submissions are easily accessible for me to compile and that nothing gets left out.

My goal is to have the newsletter sent out around the 5th of each month. To ensure that your updates are included in the newsletter, please submit by the last day of preceding month (e.g. news and updates for the January newsletter must be submitted via the form by December 31st). Anything submitted past the end of the month may not make into the next newsletter, so please make sure you get it in by the deadline.
We are all human; if corrections to typos, inaccurate information, omissions, and the like need to be made after the newsletter is sent out, they generally will appear in the next newsletter, unless there is time-sensitive information, in which case a separate correction will be issued. Time-dependent corrections can be made by contacting me directly, all other corrections can be made in the Google Form by selecting the Corrections topic.
I aim to fulfill and exceed expectations in my role, and I am always open to any ideas on how to improve the newsletter to make it more useful and enjoyable. If you have any suggestions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me.
